If you’re looking for a cozy indoor session without the need for large studio setups or extensive props, our Christmas-themed Welshot Still-Life in Miniature event is tailor-made for you! The idea for this Welshot, Still-Life in Miniature event was born from a visit of some friends to Anglesey in North Wales – the weather was too bad for any of the nature photography they’d hoped for but they’d packed their car with all manner of props, backdrops, fabric and flowers – all of the miniature (think Dolls House) size. This event transforms tabletop photography into a delightful miniature world. Picture your favorite props, backdrops, fabrics, and flowers, all scaled down to dollhouse size.
At this event, you’ll have the opportunity to select your mini props and master the art of styling and composition. Using continuous photographic lighting, the Welshot team will help, support and guide you with everything you need, including miniature backdrops and textures.. Explore close-up photography techniques, and if you’re equipped with a macro lens, this is the perfect occasion to use it.
Expect a treasure trove of mini props, all with a Christmas and festive feel., essential for a Welshot still-life and creative workshop, downsized to charm your creativity this Christmas season.
And, as it’s Christmas, we’ll even supply the Christmas mince pies and some non-alcoholic, mulled wine!

The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this Still-Life in Miniature – The Christmas Edition – Llandudno Photographic Academy Evening event to assist and help you get the best from your camera, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories having learned a thing or three about photography and your camera.

18:35 – Photography starts – One to One and Group tuition
20:00 – Short break – time to grab yourself a hot/cold drink
20:30 – Photography continues with One to One and Group Tuition
