It’s time to blow those Winter cobwebs away and our Seascape and Sunset Photography at fort Perch Rock at the end of the New Brighton promenade is guaranteed to do just that. This day will delight the photographer who loves the great outdoors but with a few creature comforts close at hand. This fun filled day with Welshot for you and your camera will provide it all. From lighthouses to rock pools to, from street photography (if that’s your jam) to stormy seas and a spectacular sunset (fingers crossed) complete with blue hour – This afternoon will have it all for the photographer. Join us for an afternoon of photography in New Brighton on Wirral where we will be giving our cameras a great workout. From capturing seascapes to skylines, from pirate ships to fairy gardens (and a chance to practice your macro photography) we promise you it will be worth the effort. Remember those creature comforts we mentioned? Why indulge (or reward) yourself with some delicious fish and chips if you feel so inclined. We know we will be!

Whether you are a beginner to photography, a photographer who would like to try a new genre, learn a new technique or skill, or, a more advanced photographer who wants to build their image portfolio, you will be made welcome, and we would love to help you get the best out of your camera.
The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this Seascape and Sunset Photography in New Brighton event to assist and help you get the best from your camera, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories having learned a thing or three about photography and your camera.
Event Schedule
13:00 – Meet – Fort Perch Rock Car Park
13:05 – Lighthouse and Seascape Photography
14:30 – Walk along the prom to photograph the Liverpool Skyline
16:00 – Capture the Lighthouse / Skyline in the golden hour
17:14 – Sunset
17:15 – Capture the Lighthouse / Skyline in the blue hour
18:00 – Finish
Please Bring
- Camera and lenses suitable for this event – Wide angle if possible or standard zoom
- Spare (Fully Charged) Batteries and Memory Card
- Tripod / Cable release if you have one
- Refreshments – Snacks or drinks you think you will require during the event
- A list of ideas, help, questions etc that you would like to discuss with Welshot Team Leaders
