An Evening of Photography in Liverpool – Roving Photographic Academy Evening
Creative Photography – Charge your batteries, grab your camera and head to the vibrant City of Liverpool for this Welshot Roving Photographic Academy Evening. This photography workshop is going to have you and your camera getting creative capturing those city and riverscape images. You will learn to look for lead in lines, reflections, and details galore. You will be learning to ‘See’ images in Black & White, how to make the most of whatever the weather and light throws at you. From picture in puddles (if it rains) to long, creative exposures. From wide Cityscape vistas to getting those creative, artistic abstract photographs. As the sun sets over the opposite side of the River Mersey the hope will be to catch a colourful sunset. As the sunset is at 18:00 this event will also be focusing on shooting in low-light conditions and working on long exposures.
Meeting at our central Liverpool One location we will head to the Albert dock area and continue to walk alongside the River Mersey – capturing the detail, city and riverscape along the way. 1:1 as well as group tuition will be given by our Welshot Team Leaders to help you capture images in a variety of differing light conditions.

The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this An Evening of Photography in Liverpool – Roving Photographic Academy Evening event to assist and help you get the best from your camera, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories having learned a thing or three about photography and your camera.
Event Schedule
19:00 – Meet outside Pret A Manger – Liverpool One– A route plan/schedule will be given on arrival
19:10 – Photography starts – 1:1 and group tuition
22:00 – Finish

- Camera and lenses suitable for this event – Wide angle if possible or standard zoom (Kit lens)
- Spare (Fully Charged) Batteries and Memory Card
- Tripod / Cable release if you have one
- Refreshments – Snacks or drinks you think you will require during the event
- A list of ideas, help, questions etc that you would like to discuss with Welshot Team Leaders
