After the lunch break there will be a masterclass session, were you will be focusing on capturing movement, teaching you how to freeze fast action or convey motion in your shots. You’ll learn key techniques for panning, adjusting shutter speeds, and composing dynamic images that showcase the speed and energy of the racing cars. Whether it’s a car speeding around the track or a mechanic working in the pit, we’ll guide you in creating images that bring the action to life, helping you master the art of photographing motion with precision and creativity.

The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this Action Photography at Ty Croes Race Track – Anglesey North Wales event to assist and help you get the best from your camera, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories having learned a thing or three about photography and your camera.

10:30 – Photography starts – Group tuition and 1:1 tuition
12:30 – Lunch(not included)
13:30 – Masterclass session – Capturing movement and speed, learning how to pan
14:30 – Group tuition and 1:1 tuition
17:00 – Review, Q&A

Please Bring
- Camera and lenses suitable for this event
- A short zoom lens (kit) for the pit areas, or a prime lens if you prefer
- A longer zoom lens for capturing the action on the track, 70-200 or 75-300 if you have or equivalent
- Or, bring the lenses you have, or like working with, and we will help you get the best from your lens and camera
- Spare (Fully Charged) Batteries and Memory Card
- Tripod / Cable release if you have one
- Refreshments – Snacks or drinks you think you will require during the event – We will be eating in the Paddock Cafe at Lunchtime (not included)
- A list of ideas, help, questions etc that you would like to discuss with Welshot Team Leaders

- Entrance fees (£12.00), food or drink are not included in the cost of this event
- This is an outdoors event. Please make sure you come dressed appropriately. Please note, the race track is very exposed and gets very windy – please come prepared.
- If Welshot decides to postpone this event due to bad weather conditions, you will be given several options regarding your booking.
