What Will Happen
Our first Walking with Your Camera – A Guided Photo Walk with Helen Iles for 2022 and it’s a Welshot Mini Module with Masterclass – on this photographic event which takes place in the stunning Bodnant Gardens in North Wales we are going to help you get the best from your camera. In our Welshot masterclass you will learn the photographic technique of ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) and learn how to compose your images. Walking with your camera is about being in the great outdoors and capturing the surroundings in your camera. From long exposures to abstract water compositions to macro and close-up photography, capturing the flora and fauna, this day has it all for the photographer.

Whether you are a beginner to photography, a photographer who would like to try a new genre, learn a new technique or skill or a more advanced photographer who wants to build their image portfolio, you will be made welcome, and we would love to help you get the best out of your camera.
The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this session to assist and help you get the best from your camera, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories.
Please Note: No food or drink is included in the cost of this event, and this is a fully outdoor event – please make sure you come dressed appropriately. If Welshot decides to postpone this event due to bad weather conditions you will be given several options regarding your booking.
Welshot will be keeping within Welsh Government regulations and recommendations regarding the Coronavirus and Covid 19 Regulations, and we expect our delegates to do the same

- 10:00 – Meet – Bodnant Tea Rooms. Welcome, introduction and preparing your camera
- 10:30 – Photography starts – Group tuition and 1:1 tuition
- 12:30 – Comfort break / lunch (not included)
- 13:30 – Masterclass session – ICM
- 14:30 – Photography resumes – 1:1 tuition available
- 15:30 – Review, Q&A
- 16:00 – Finish

- Camera and lenses suitable for this event – Wide angle if possible – Standard zoom – Macro – Bring the lenses you have (or like working with) and we will help you get the best from your lens and camera
- Spare (Fully Charged) Batteries and Memory Card
- Tripod / Cable release if you have one
