Creative Photography is about discovering shapes, textures, colour and movement and how all these, combined together, can help you to create the most amazing photographs. At this Welshot Photographic Academy Evening, based at The Welshot Creative Hub in Llandudno this photography session is all about Oil, Water & Cross-Polarisation and how using a wide variety of everyday objects, from bottles, to coloured cloth, along with the correct settings and functions on your camera, can achieve effective images with that “WOW – how did you do that?” factor. From fast shutter speeds to capture water droplets to long exposures so you get that milky effect with flowing water. Tonight you will see how oil and water does mix when it comes to photography and a laptop just isn’t used for post processing and editing your images. You will leave this event inspired and motivated to try this at home and with the skills, techniques and ideas you will have take away with you, you will be able to do just that.

The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this Oil, Water & Cross-Polarisation – Creative Photography – Llandudno Photographic Academy Evening event to assist and help you get the best from your camera, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories having learned a thing or three about photography and your camera.

18:30 – Meet at the Welshot Creative Hub – 16 Trinity Square, Llandudno
18:35 – Photography starts – One to One and Group tuition
20:00 – Short break for a light buffet supper (included)
20:30 – Photography continues with One to One and Group Tuition
22:00 – Finish

- Camera and lenses suitable for this event: Nifty 50mm / Macro / Any focal length lens of between 35mm and 100mm or standard kit zoom – Please feel free to bring your preferred lens.
- Spare Batteries and Memory Card
- Tripod
- Cable release if you have one
- Any props you might like to include in your photos
- A list of ideas, help, questions etc that you would like to discuss with Welshot Team Leaders to help you get the best from this event.
