A Photographic Adventure at Blists Hill – This WelshotRewards Day for Members of the Welshot Photographic Academy has it all. A pure photographers delight, from architecture to portraiture, from fish and chips wrapped up in paper to Victorian Policemen willing to pose for you and your camera. A Masterclass in low-light (interior) photography and how to capture those portraits will get you started on this photographic adventure, and help you to capture the images which will tell a story of days gone by.

It’s Day Two of our Action Photography Workshop (WelshotRewards Day) and we are back in, what must be, the most stunningly located race circuit in the UK. Today it is all about learning how to capture classic motorcycles racing around one of the most picturesque circuits in the country. During the day there will be plenty of opportunity for 1:1 tuition, learning how to master the art of panning. During the day you will visit the pit area, helping you to get up close to the motorcycles being prepared for racing. As a photographer, this gives you an opportunity to build up a story of the day in photos.

Wildlife & Bird Photography at the Martin Mere WWT – What could be better than walking around the bustling wetlands with your camera photographing the birds and wildlife during the Summer Months. Our third wildlife and bird photography workshop this year is designed to help you get exploring the Martin Mere wetland paradise. This Welshot photographic workshop will have you making and creating some stunning images in the peaceful reedbeds, home to bearded tits and Cetti’s Warblers and Marsh Harriers in flight. Let’s not forget those graceful Flamingos and the cheeky Otters either. Learn how to capture movement, capture birds and wildfowl being fed at this wonderful wetland area based in Burscough, near Ormskirk.
