Portrait Photography – Friday Night is Studio Night at the Welshot Creative Hub. This Welshot Photographic Academy Evening, based at the Welshot Creative Hub in Llandudno North Wales will be the perfect opportunity for you to get creative, work with models, build yourself a photographic portfolio, learn about studio (Mains Flash and Off Camera Flash) lighting and help you to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques, skills and equipment. Limited to eight photographers, with at least two different studio set-ups during the course of this Evening photography workshop you will get One to One and Group tuition and training to help, support and guide you through what can often be thought of as a confusing and complex genre of photography. This, dedicated to learning all things studio lighting for photography course, will have you taking and making portrait images that you will be proud to show off.

Learn to shoot with gels using mains studio & off camera flash at this Welshot Photographic Academy Evening in Chester. Gels are coloured, transparent material used to modify lights for photography which are placed over the light source to create stunning, often dramatic, colourful effects for the images you create. You will be shooting in a mains studio environment and on location within the Chester Crowne Plaza, capturing your stunning, experienced, Welshot models in camera while using lighting gels and modifiers.

Learning about photographic studio lighting at the Welshot Creative Hub in Llandudno, North Wales is now something we are able to offer – either on a one to one basis or in small groups of two, three or four people. Have you always wanted to learn your butterfly from your Rembrandt, your split lighting from your side lighting or maybe you want to know (and learn) about the different types of modifiers on the market and what they do and how they are used to create the effects you’ve seen others do but not quite mastered yourself. These sessions are completely tailor made to YOU and YOUR needs as a photographer, so whether it’s a one to one you need or you and a group of friends fancy having a different kind of ‘Day Out’ we can help you get to grips with your photographic studio lighting techniques.
