Rather than just following a script Eifion drew out of me my jumbled thoughts and experiences and linked them together so that I could understand far better the capability of both my camera and brain.

Following the very informative technical session was an outdoor stroll around Llandudno to use what was learnt but develop on that with helpful suggestions.

A key element of the success was in giving me confidence to try pressing buttons or controls I had never used before and to practice how to press those buttons or controls whilst holding the camera.
