Capture & Connect – A Morning for Creatives & Business Owners

Learn photography tips and techniques, use our studio, use our expertise, you can even use our cameras – all while you meet and mingle with other creatives and build your brand.

Join us for a relaxed morning of creativity, connection and conversation at the Welshot Creative Hub in Llandudno. Designed especially for small business owners, freelancers, and creatives, this informal get-together is all about networking, learning and discovering how photography can help tell your brand story.

Enjoy a privately catered for lunch by Margaret Bell, meet like-minded people, and even get your headshot updated in our studio by our professional photographers. You’ll also pick up a few practical skills and techniques for improving your photography, perfect for your website, social media or marketing content.

Bring your own camera, use your phone, or borrow one of our Welshot cameras if you’d like to take part in the hands-on photography activities. You’re even welcome to bring along a few props from your business to practice photographing your own products or brand elements.

You’ll Enjoy:

• Meeting local creatives and small business owners in a relaxed environment
• The opportunity to update your professional headshot (supplied digitally via email)
• Learning simple photography tips and techniques you can use right away to create content for your website and social media
• Taking part in short, practical sessions – make sure you bring your camera, phone, or borrow one of ours if you’d like to do this
• The use of our lighting equipment, backdrops and props
• A peek behind the scenes at the Welshot Creative Hub
• Meeting and networking with other local businesses
• A healthy buffet style lunch catered by our own private chef – Margaret Bell will be served in our very own creative atmosphere

You’re welcome to bring along a few of your own props, products or branded items to photograph during the hands-on activities.

This is an informal event designed to give you a taste of what Welshot for Businesses is all about while helping you to create content, build confidence behind your camera (or phone), and connect with others in your local creative community.  No sales pitch, no pressure, just good company, great conversation, and the chance to mix, mingle, network and create content for your business if that’s what you’d like to do.

Event Schedule

10:15 – Meet at the Welshot Creative Hub – 16 Trinity Square, Llandudno
10:30 – Welcome, introductions and running of the event
10:35 – Let’s connect and create! (don’t forget to get a headshot taken for your socials)
1:30 – Lunch is served (catered for by Margaret Bell ) – Stay for lunch, continue networking and ask questions while you eat.
3:00 – Thank You for coming

Please Note:

Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cold drinks are included throughout the event
A buffet style lunch (catered by Margaret Bell will be served at 1:30pm)
Unable to attend?  Tickets can be transferred (or used as a credit/part payment) towards a future event if you email us on lee@welshotimaging.co.uk before 31st March 2026
Tickets are non-refundable
