The Conwy RSPB nature reserve is a wetland on the Conwy estuary\, created from material dug out during the construction of the A55 road tunnel. It is now home to a variety of wildlife\, and a great place for photographers and their cameras. there is always something to see and photograph\, from landscape to macro\, flora and fauna and\, of course\, birds. Your Welshot Masterclass will be learning how to work with light and shutter speeds to capture stunning compositions and movement.   \nIf birds are your jam then Autumn season is a great place to capture the Black-tailed godwit\, Lapwings\, Sedge warblers\, Shelduck and Water rail. Water Rails feed in the open (keep an eye on the bird feeders too). Want to capture something a little different in your camera – catch the Carneddau ponies grazing nearby which helps to keep the habitat in good condition for orchids when they arrive. \n \n\n\n\nBeginner to photography? The Conwy RSPB nature reserve is a wetland on the Conwy estuary\, created from material dug out during the construction of the A55 road tunnel. It is now home to a variety of wildlife\, and a great place for photographers and their cameras.  there is always something to see and photograph\, from landscape to macro\, flora and fauna and\, of course\, birds.  Your Welshot Masterclass will be learning how to work with light and shutter speeds to capture stunning compositions and movement. \n\n\n\nIf birds are your jam then Winter season is a great place to capture the Starling roosting in the reeds which they can build at any time\, usually between January and March – be here an hour before dusk. Water Rails feed in the open (keep an eye on the bird feeders too). Listen for siskins and lesser redpolls in alder trees behind the visitor centre. Following a hard frost or light snow\, you may see mammal tracks\, including otter and water shrew.
