DESCRIPTION:A Welshot for Kids Photography Workshop Llandudno – A “Colour Quest” Creative Photo Adventure\nLooking for a kids photography workshop in Llandudno this Easter? Our “Colour Quest” creative photo adventure is a relaxed\, fun\, and engaging way for children\, teens\, and families to explore photography while discovering the world through colour\, light\, and storytelling. \nDesigned for all abilities\, this session is all about creativity\, confidence\, and having a go\, with no pressure and plenty of support from Team Welshot. \nWhat is the “Colour Quest” photography adventure”?\nOur “Colour Quest” photo adventure is a guided photographic walk around Llandudno with a creative twist.  You’ll take part in a fun colour-based challenge\, spotting and photographing different colours\, textures\, and details\, and then use your images to create your own mini photo story.  It’s part scavenger hunt\, part creative workshop\, and completely relaxed. \nAt Welshot\, we believe photography should be accessible\, enjoyable\, and confidence-building.  This session is about creativity\, exploration\, and connection.  Not perfection. \nWhat they’ll be doing:\n\nTaking part in a fun and engaging “Colour Quest” challenge\nExploring Llandudno through a creative lens\nPhotographing colours\, textures\, and interesting details\nCreating your own mini photo story\nWorking at their own pace with guidance from Team Welshot\n\nWhat they’ll learn (without it feeling like learning!)\n\nHow to see and use colour in photography:\n\nThey’ll start to notice colour in a whole new way.  From bold\, bright tones to softer\, hidden shades. We’ll show them how colour can make their photos stand out and help tell their story.\n\n\nSimple composition techniques:\n\nWithout any complicated rules\, they’ll discover easy ways to frame their photos so they feel more interesting and balanced\, just by changing where they stand or what they include in their shot.\n\n\nHow to tell a story using images:\n\nThey’ll learn how a small set of photos can work together to create a beginning\, middle\, and end\, turning their pictures into their own little visual story.\n\n\nBuilding confidence with a camera or phone:\n\nWhether they’re using a phone or a camera\, they’ll get more comfortable taking photos\, trying new ideas\, and trusting their own creativity.\n\n\nSlowing down and noticing your surroundings:\n\nThis is about taking a moment to pause\, look a little closer\, and spot things they might normally miss\, helping to see the world differently through their lens.\n\n\n\nWho is this kids photography workshop for:\n\nKids and teens of all abilities\nFamilies looking for creative things to do in Llandudno\nComplete beginners welcome\nAnyone who enjoys being creative and trying something new\n\nA parent or guardian must remain with children throughout the session. \nWhat to bring:\n\nA camera or smartphone (Cameras can be borrowed but may need to be shared)\nComfortable walking shoes\nWeather-appropriate clothing\nCuriosity and creativity\nWe also suggest bringing some snacks and a drink (to avoid those\, can I have an ice cream moments) – we will stop for comforts stops along the way.\n\nEvent Schedule\n10:00 – Meet at the Welshot Creative Hub – 16 Trinity Square\, Llandudno – Welcome\, introductions\, plan of action\n10:15 – Let the photo adventure begin…\n12:30 – Lunch – Bring a picnic or grab some fish and chips (not included) and we’ll eat on the prom.\n13:30 – Photo adventure resumes…\n15:00 – Q&A and/or let’s look at those photos while we have a hot chocolate (for kids who want to share)\n15:30 – Finish \nFor Parents & Guardians – Please Note:\nA parent or guardian MUST stay for the entire session.  This is a shared experience (free of charge for attending parent of guardian) and you’re very welcome to: \n\nWalk alongside\nJoin in\nTake photos too\nOr simply enjoy watching your child explore and create\n\nNo childcare vibes\, no pressure on anyone.  You are welcome to bring any other children under 5-years of age with you free of charge.  If you have more than one child who’d like to attend and take part in the event\, please email me on lee@welshotimaging.co.uk or phone 07765461324 and we will arrange a discount for you. \nChildren will all take away something different from this event.  Some may come away excited about photography.  Others may simply enjoy the freedom\, the walk\, and the shared experience.  Both outcomes are a success. \nThis isn’t about perfect photos.  It’s about curiosity\, confidence\, fresh air\, and fun.
