DESCRIPTION:Sunrise to Sunset – Lighthouses\, Piers & Bridges – A WelshotRewards Day\n\n\n\nWhat Will Happen\n\n\n\nSunrise to Sunset – Lighthouses\, Piers & Bridges – A WelshotRewards Day event for Welshot Academy Members.  Starting at Penmon\, we will capture the sun as it rises above the Great Orme which overlooks Llandudno\, North Wales.  You will learn how to take long exposure\, experimenting with using various shutter speed to slow the movement of water\, which will give the sea that ‘Milky – Blurry’ look.  This photographic event is guaranteed to provide the photographer with a wide range of subjects and genres.  From seascape to landscape photography\, from architectural to nature and wildlife – this is a day for those who like to amble around with their camera.   \nFrom Telford’s Menai Bridge to Robert Stephensons Britannia Bridge\, which both connect the Island of Anglesey to the mainland of North Wales\, these photogenetic structures will both delight and reward the photographer. Starting from the Coed Cyrnol Car Park\, we will be walking along the Belgium Promenade\, stopping at Llandysilio Island (otherwise known as Church Island) to capture the Britannia Bridge in all her splendour\, before heading towards\, and underneath\, the magnificent Telford’s Bridge.  As we walk up to\, onto and over the Menai Bridge itself we will capture this historical structure from both sides and all angles in our cameras.  If time permits\, we can then make our way\, by car\, to the local lookout layby near to the A55 (and Britannia Bridge) so you can capture both bridges in all their glory as the sun goes down.  After the blue hour you will head home from a wonderful day of lighthouses\, piers and bridges.      \n\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\n \n\n\n\nBeginner to photography? This Welshot Photographic Academy Evening\, based at the Welshot Creative Hub in Llandudno North Wales will be the perfect opportunity for you to get creative\, work with models\, build yourself a photographic portfolio\, learn about studio (Mains Flash and Off Camera Flash) lighting and help you to keep up-to-date with the latest techniques\, skills and equipment. Limited to eight photographers\, with at least two models and two different studio set-ups during the course of this Evening photography workshop you will get One to One and Group tuition and training to help\, support and guide you through what can often be thought of as a confusing and complex genre of photography.  This\, dedicated to learning all things studio lighting for photography course\, will have you taking and making portrait images that you will be proud to show off.     \nFrom learning how to pose your model(s) to the best lighting (types of) and modifiers to use to make the images you want to create.  From using props\, backgrounds and gels to understanding the the correct settings\, camera functions\, lenses and focal lengths to use for portraiture and studio photography.  You will learn about ‘Fill’ ‘Key’ (low key & high key) ‘Background’ ‘Hair\, Separation\, and ‘Kicker’ lighting techniques.  Along with the learning of how\, where and when to position your lights and using different techniques and modifiers can alter the look and feel of your image. You will be using one\, two\, three and four lights – learning how to build your set up from the base up.  You will also learn how using costumes\, accessories\, props and backgrounds/backdrops (studio and on location) will have a dramatic effect on your final photograph.   \n\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n			\n				\n			\n		\n\nThe Welshot Studio (and on location) Nights will cover a wide variety of themes from dance and movement to headshots and conceptual photography – from shooting for composite photography to making an image for your camera club and salon competition\, our Welshot Studio Nights will give you an opportunity to shoot\, make and create your image in an environment that may not otherwise be available to you.  \nYou will be provided with a workbook that will contain cheat-sheets and any other information relevant to the nights photography to take home with you for future reference.   \nHeld on the LAST Friday of every Month\, this\, brand new to Welshot\, Academy Evening\, is designed as a one-off stand-alone course or can lead on from\, month by month to build up into a series of events which will help to build your skills\, experience and your photographic portfolio.
