Join us for an exciting photography experience at the Welshot creative hub in Llandudno, where we’ll be recreating the bold and unforgettable style of the 1960s. This hands-on fashion photographic academy evening will give you the opportunity to explore both mains studio flash and off-camera flash techniques to create images that truly capture the spirit of this iconic era. Your models will be rocking the flamboyant fashion that defined the decade, from striking, colourful prints to dramatic makeup, high-heeled boots, and the ever-popular beehive hairstyles. You’ll have the chance to experiment with lighting, composition, and posing, while shooting in a dynamic studio environment. With a small group size (of just 8 photographers), you’ll benefit from plenty of one-on-one time with your model to perfect your shots and push your creativity. You will also have the help, support and guidance of team Welshot.
At Welshot, we take care of all the details, backdrops, props, and an extensive range of 1960s-inspired clothing will be provided for you. You’ll be able to focus solely on your photography without worrying about gathering the right materials. You Will Learn

The Welshot Team will be at hand throughout this Fashion Photography – 1960’s Themed Photo-Shoot – Mains Studio & Off Camera Flash – Llandudno Photographic Academy Evening event to assist and help you get the best from your camera, so you can leave at the end of this session with memory cards full of beautiful photographs and great memories having learned a thing or three about photography and your camera.

18:35 – Photography starts – One to One and Group tuition
20:00 – Short break – time to grab yourself a hot/cold drink
20:30 – Photography continues with One to One and Group Tuition

- Camera and lenses suitable for this event – Standard zoom (18 – 55mm) 50mm / any lens up to 100mm (or your preferred lens for portraiture)
